Tour to England |

Pembroke Hamilton
Club (PHC) of Bermuda travelled over to England
for a week-long pre-season tour in preparation
for their domestic campaign due to commence
in September 2004.
Their tour included extensive training sessions
at Aston University playing fields, 3 games
against semi-professional English clubs, the
opportunity to watch live English pre-season
friendly games, a tour of Manchester United's
Old Trafford Stadium and sightseeing and shopping
excursions in London.
PHC were accommodated in city centre 3/4 star
hotels both in Birmingham (Quality Hotel, Hagley
Road) and in London (St Giles Hotel, Tottenham
Court Road). These hotels combined leisure facilities
with a central location ideal for sightseeing
and exploring the cities during the team's leisure
time.
PSC also provided the PHC team squad with
private eating at all times along with specific
pre-match meals 3 hours before kick off in each
of the three games played.

The response that PSC received
from the tour was fantastic. Many of the players
have since enquired about coming over on a PSC
UK Football Break and the management fully intend
to make a similar tour next year as can be seen
below: -
"We had a very enjoyable trip and we look
forward to returning sometime in the not too
distant future.
A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU (MARK TAYLOR) AND KYLE
(LIGHTBOURNE)."
Dee Smith, PHC Tour Manager
