Everton FC - Pre-season
Tour to Houston, USA |
|
PSC together with First Wave took Everton
FC of the English Premier League to Houston,
Texas, USA for their pre-season tour in July
/ August 2004.
Everton's ten-day tour included two games
against top Mexican sides Pachuca and Club America
in the 'Copa de Tejas' Tournament, that was
staged in the 60,000-capacity Reliant Stadium,
home of the NFL's Houston Texans American Football
team.
During their stay in Houston, Everton resided
in the luxurious surroundings of the six-star
Westin Galleria Hotel.
The Houston Texans' kindly allowed Everton
the full use of their training facilities -
where both excellent grass and 'field-turf'
pitches were on offer.
Other activities provided in the tour included
a golf day and a social night out by the title
of a 'Texas Steak-Out!'

Dear
Paul
Just a quick note to thank you for all the hard
work in connection with our trip to Houston.
The trip proved to be a great training and team
building excercise and we hope to benefit from
it in the coming months.
I look forward to working with you in the future.
Yours sincerely
