It’s been a busy week for 23-year old Luke Mulholland... first he was included in the USL’s team of the year and named ‘rookie of the year’ after a terrific debut season with the Wilmington Hammerheads, then he signed a short-term deal with NSC Minnesota of the NASL as the battle it out in the end of season play-offs.

Mulholland scored 9 goals and provided 4 assists for the Hammerheads who finished 2nd overall in the USL-Pro league before losing in the play-offs to the Richmond Kickers on penalties.

Mulholland’s terrific season caught the eye of numerous clubs in the NASL and MLS and will no doubt be in high demand once his short-term deal at NSC Minnesota ends in October.
