18-year old Slovenian starlet Haris Vuckic has signed an extended five-year deal at Newcastle United.

Vuckic made his debut as a 17-year old last season and has been unfortunate in recent months with a couple of troublesome injuries that have restricted his progress.

This has not stopped the Magpies hierarchy in rewarding Haris with a five-year deal.

Since he signed with Newcastle in January 2009, the young Slovenian has constantly been linked with some of the top clubs in Europe including Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona!
