PSC SOCCER COMBINES

PSC recognizes the vast amount of soccer talent in the United States and the lack of playing opportunities and regular quality coaching for them to take their game to the next level. This is the reason behind developing our Soccer Combines.

Our combines and program’s look to evaluate and unearth players in search of the following: -

• FIFA licensed player representation (www.pscmanagement.co.uk) and professional playing opportunities offered by guest coaches at each combine

• The opportunity to be selected to take part in our all-star Select USA Team travelling to Europe to showcase against professional teams this winter CLICK HERE TO VIEW OUR SHOWCASE TOUR PAGE

• A written evaluation from our professional coaching staff

Format of a PSC Combine

Each PSC Combine is run over three days as we feel this gives players enough of a chance to show their true abilities. Our combines do not involve fitness tests, passing or dribbling drills as these are not a true reflection of player’s abilities. Our combines focus purely on game realistic situations such as small and full sided games.

FAQ’s

“I’ve been to combines before and I did not feel the coaches had enough time to get a good look at me”

PSC limits the amount of players they accept on a combine for this very reason. We have not held a combine yet with more than 45 players in order to give a fair and accurate observation for each attending player. This also allows for a higher standard of play as players are not as desperate to impress as they will be given enough exposure. We are aware that some combines allow over 100+ players to attend which makes it very difficult for individuals to catch the eye.

“I am worried the quality of the combine will not be good enough for me to show my true potential”

Each applicant must submit a resume to PSC staff to be screened before being accepted. This ensures a high quality for all involved at a PSC Combine.

“What kind of contacts do PSC have? Is it just with European teams?”

PSC have an extensive contact list from Europe to America to Asia, we will look to use all contacts at our disposal to find the right fit for the right player. We have worked with numerous teams and top professional players from all over Europe. Please see our website to see some of the players and teams we have worked with www.pscmanagement.co.uk

“Does attending a combine or showcase affect my college eligibility?”

We get lots of questions from players and parents about college eligibility. Being a part of the combine or showcase will not affect your college eligibility. College players are allowed to tryout as part of an amateur team singly or individually against professional athletes according to NCAA rules. The program is run by professional coaches and players.

How is this different to other combines in the US?

Our combine’s offer a chance for not only professional coaches to come and view the showcased talent but also for our agency to scout and evaluate potential clients for clubs in either North America or Europe. From our combines we will look to recruit players to trial in Europe or to attend our European showcase tour where they get to play in front of European coaches and scouts. Check out our Agency Website to see the type of clients we work with. (www.pscmanagement.co.uk.)
We also involve international coaches from Europe in our combines and are not just focused on recruitment for American leagues, as shown by our previous listed success stories.

“What happens if I get injured leading up to the combine?”

The registration fee is non-refundable however any player who is unable to attend due to injury will be offered a free place at any of our future combines.

“Does PSC provide accommodation and meals?”

Players are responsible for their own accommodation and meals during the combine however we have relationships with local hotels to allow for cheaper rates. Please contact us if you need assistance with combine accommodation.

“What happens once the combine is finished?”

Following the combine one of three potential outcomes may ensue. Firstly, players that impress will be invited to trial with professional clubs based on our agencies contacts or the coaches in attendance at the combine.

Secondly, players will be invited to attend our European showcase tour to play exhibition games against top professional European teams. Here they will play in front of a host European scouts and coaches whilst receiving top class coaching from our professional staff. (European showcase tour page)

Thirdly, players we do not feel are ready for the professional game just yet will be provided with a written evaluation explaining their areas for development. This will be received within ten working days of the combine.
